Welcome to the Heather Lewis Training web site!
I am
a freelance instructor based in South Hampshire and I offer training for all horses and riders. Whether you are just
getting started with your horse's education and need help with schooling, or require more comprehensive training for competition,
I can help.
Here you will find a full list of upcoming clinic dates as well as all the different lesson
types and prices on offer. Please browse through the pages and feel free to contact me via phone or e-mail if you require any further information.
Please note that all clinic bookings
are payable at the time of booking.
In this current climate of increased costs all
round, I am fighting against having to increase my prices accordingly. I feel that £15 for an hours lesson represents
good value for money and is on a par with many riding club prices for members where the club subsidises the cost.
In order to keep my prices down, however, I cannot offer a refund in
the case of cancellation, except for medical reasons. If a refund is necessary, I will carry forward the payment to
another session of your choice.
Please arrange payment when you book. You can send a cheque, pay with a
card via Paypal, or give me cash in person if I am seeing you for a private lesson. See 'Bookings' page for more details.

Clinics at Oakpark Equestrian Centre and Hound Hill Farm are held outdoors. In
the case of bad weather, please phone me to make sure the session will run. I do try to contact everyone if I have to cancel,
but if in doubt - please call!

Flatwork with Groundpoles
Hound Hill Farm
Segensworth Lane, Titchfield

Groundpoles are an excellent way of adding variety to your horses training and help to create
rhythm, balance and cadence.
We will use different exercises today in trot and canter to improve the basic paces and way of
going. Suitable for all levels.
Good fun for both horse and rider!
Starting at 10am

Important Safety Notice:
For all jumping clinics hats up to current BSI standard must be worn.
Body protectors are highly recommended.
Every measure is taken to ensure the safety of horse and rider, but riding is a risk sport
and horses can be unpredictable.
Entry to the clinics is granted on condition that the individual undertakes responsibility
for their own safety and is competent to ride at the appropriate level. All tack and equipment must be in good condition
and fit the horse correctly. Tack checks will be carried out in certain circumstances - if in doubt, please ask.
